According to my dreams, if you charge an iPhone 13 mini (my phone) using a charging block made for charging an iPhone 15 Pro, the phone will flip out from the high wattage and blast your local emergency alert siren until you unplug it. Which is absolutely bogus, because an actual iPhone will communicate with its charging block to get the wattage down to a safe level.
Besides, I once charged an iPad Air 2 using a charging block made for a MACBOOK PRO . . .

Yesterday, I had a sore throat. My parents told me that it was a viral infection, but I have a sinking feeling that I got it from laughing my butt off at a British comedy show the previous day.
That would be the manhole cover that got launched by Operation Plumbbob.
wasn’t there a story somewhere of a manhole cover that like broke the sound barrier or something after it got flung off by a nuclear explosion

In theory, you could change the Earth’s rotation speed using reaction wheels built on the poles. The only problem is that these reaction wheels would have to be comparable in mass to the Earth itself, which opens up some problems. Among the ones I can think of:
A special motor and axle would have to be made to handle the extreme weight of the wheel.
Making an object comparable in mass to the Earth is an obviously difficult task.
They could use less mass and get the same result by spinning the wheels faster. However, if they relied too much on the spinning, the wheel might spin so fast that centrifugal force destroys it.

What if the first-second-third person system kept going?
In first person, the story is narrated by a character. “I head for the patch of wild mint. But I see them moving; something’s already in them.“
In second person, the story is narrated by an in-universe you. “You head for the patch of wild mint. Something is moving in them.“
In third person, the story is narrated by an unseen in-universe entity. “Kemi is headed for the patch of wild mint, but she notices something moving in them.“
In fourth person, the story is about someone reading the book. “Kemi goes for the patch of wild mint. But there’s something moving in them . . . what is it?“
In fifth person, the story is narrated by you reading the book. “You turn the page. You read that Kemi is moving towards the patch of wild mint, in spite of an unidentified entity.“
In sixth person, the story is narrated by an unseen entity watching you read the book. “Kathee turns the page. As she reads, she raises her eyebrows slightly.“

More nails on Chaimakia’s Species:
On their feet, they have four claws and a dewclaw-like claw on their wrist that serves as a sort of thumb. They don’t really have a use for it.
They have no physical sex, due to not having a natural body. Any male/female identity in the species exists only as a gender identity.
They reproduce asexually. By reproducing, they create a new inner body “froth“, which, again, does not come with a dedicated body, and must be supplied.
Secondary “parent“ kinship ties only exist as a social construct. Due to they way they reproduce, a member of the species only has one biological parent.
I could use some help with a universe canon that I’ve been developing over the past year. It started as an unusually vivid dream, and has since lived on as a mesh of loose plot points. This month, I’ve started to try getting major canon elements nailed down in physical format. I’ve made a map of the canon universe (using my bathroom floor) and today, made vectors of one of the main characters.

This is Chaimakia, part of a species in the canon currently under a filler name. Chaimakia & the rest of her kin take the form of dragons, but the details are a bit unusual. Here’s what I have nailed down right now:
[name]s have no natural bodies or internal organs. Beneath their skin is a froth that controls their body. This froth is technically a [name]’s true being.
[name]s have no sense of smell or taste, due to not having a natural body. They can only sense pressure, and they use their entire bodies as eardrums to detect sound.
[name]s can reshape their bodies. A [name], for example, can rearrange their limbs into a comfortable humanoid/furry form. In effect, a [name] is just a shroud filled with sentient foam!
[name]s can also use their inner froth “body“ to form entirely new limbs. They mostly just use these to make eyes for themselves, though. These eyes don’t look like human eyes, which is why Chaimakia usually keeps her eyes shut.
The big question: what do I name this species?
I have no idea what TNC is . . .
