I just had an idea. A lot of people support urban mobility with things like bicycles and scooters. That’s a great idea, but often the weather is too bad to ride a bike, and many people just physically can’t. And it is often hard to carry things on those vehicles.
So I propose we make a new vehicle, a little bigger than a bike and fully enclosed with air conditioning. Powered by electricity or even some kind of fuel. Maybe even with enough space for friends to ride with you, to save money or just for fun. Build new transit corridors that are open to these, funded buy taxes from buying these vehicles and from buying electricity or fuel to power them. They can lock so you don’t need a bike lock or anything like that. Each location you arrive at could have an area for storing them.
You can arrive precisely at your location without having to walk, unlike most public transit. It is still open to the public, but it is more private. And you don’t have to worry about weather or your strength. I’m currently tendering funding to launch a pilot project for this. You might remember the 2022 Iranian Mahsa Amini protests as being the biggest in the country’s history. Well, right now that record is being beaten. Protestors are in basically every city including smaller ones (unlike last time). The regime is also weaker than last time. We genuinely could see the Iranian regime fall because of this, but I personally think it would require some outside intervention for that to happen. Hopefully Israel or America does something.

I know Stjepan Mesić very well, very good man,” said Trump on Air Force One before a reporter made him aware the country broke up in 1991 and 1992, with the president seemingly confused how Stjepan Mesić was in fact the final president of Yugoslavia before going on to become the president of Croatia from 2000 to 2010. “We live in a world, in the real world, Jake, that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time. Nobody’s going to fight the United States militarily over the future of Yugoslavia, mainly because its future was already determined back in the 90s during a pretty awful war or something,” said top security advisor and aide Stephen Miller in an interview with lesser news outlet CNN. Following the threats made by the Trump administration, nations formerly part of Yugoslavia released statements trying to explain to Trump that he couldn’t seize a country that doesn’t exist anymore. At press time, Stephen Miller reportedly suggested that President Trump could seize each of the former nations of Yugoslavia and reunite them to resurrect the country.
“Venezuelans were sacrificed in the Maduro raid” - False. As far as we can tell at the moment Maduro had only Cubans in his security. Why? Because Venezuelans mostly hated him and he couldn’t trust them to not backstab him.

Valid point, but something I didn’t really mention is that China’s military doesn’t have an outward purpose. The PLA just wants to keep China and the CCP itself stable. They don’t really do operations out of the country (except in the South China Sea). So maybe they could do a similar operation, they just really don’t want to.
I still think China couldn’t do Iraq, Afghanistan, or Libya like we did. It’s just not possible for them.
i mean it's not like venezuela is that far from the US… they aren't invading a country on the other side of the world..
i’m sure if there was a country at a similar distance from china (like in oceania or whatever) that had nobody major backing it on the international stage (just like venezuela), they could probably capture the leader if they wanted
People say that America is losing its position to China, but at least militarily only America has a world-spanning military force. We’re the only country that can invade a country on a different continent (Venezuela) and capture their leader, invade Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. China could literally never do any of that.
