Gosh - this seems like it's going to make a lot of simple projects a heck of a lot more complicated for the sake of making a few complex projects more simple.

Well I suppose, but this is on an even larger scale lol - directory based routing just makes sense, and this new format seems really weird.

yeah. hopefully the migration script makes it a lot easier — i have a lot of sveltekit apps i would need to take care of.
