I use edge, and once you switch there's still no escaping the annoyances from Microsoft. If you change your search engine to something other than bing you start getting popups for “optimize your browser settings”.
This isn't surprising at all, big company tries to get ahead of others and is like "haha look what I have that you don't". Reminds me of Google, because they did the exact same thing with Chrome, adding some useless confetti stuff that doesn't work on other browsers, just slightly pushing people to use Chrome instead.

did microshaft do something with edge for the environment? is it that power saving thing thing that pauses tabs or whatever?? I agree, tho.
