it’s quite ironic how posts like “if this post reaches 5 likes i’ll do nothing” (totally not me… ahem) can get even to the bottom of the trending list, which is funny and stupid

@jeffalo you should make a “Recent Posts” tab on the explore page
it can help people who get an average of like 5 likes gain popularity
there's that for admins, but the signal to noise ratio is sometimes not great

i get no likes when people saying “i hate this and you should too!!” get 10
Can’t see any posts about hating things, except vaguely mine about reposts
basically controversies are kinda taking over like oren posting some questionable things that caused drama from what i understand
yeah but there’s also some other stuff like how new users ever so rarely get their posts on explore without making themselves visible on people’s walls to gain a good reputation and being known for stuff
back then it only took 20 followers to get onto explore — which i’m pretty sure you remember since you’ve been on here for a while now
in fact, i used to be on trending users at one point
