when i’m bored i think about underwhelming albums and I then imagine how I will refix the track-list.
For Drake’s “Scorpion” You take Nice for What and the Micheal Jackson track from disk 2 and add those songs to disk 1. Then you delete disk 2 and remove the worst 2 songs from disk 1 - “I’m Upset” and the last track.
Then you’ve got a solid album (instead of a bloated mid mess).
Anyone else do this?
i have a playlist that rearranges and chucks a few songs out of Hail To The Thief by Radiohead (I like all the songs really but some don’t fit and the original album’s pacing is weird), here’s what i did since its easier to show than write it all out.
I was thinking about this yesterday with TMBG’s Factory Showroom, great album but kinda wack tracklist and some of the best songs were outtakes
i do this but i often make save my changes as playlists (or just manually make them each time if they’re really small)
