The sounds of bells and drums and flutes slowly fill the village. The Ascension Parade has finally arrived! Ascended cats from distant villages, playing music and wearing elaborate masks and costumes, make their way slowly through the village, handing out little candies and treats to everyone they see.

One of the ascended cats is holding a basket and distributing little trinkets and candies to everyone at the side of the road. cheesewhisk3rs and [1] Mafar are thrilled to get a piece of candy, while [1] Song and Hyacinth enjoy cute little carved figurines.

cheesewhisk3rs grabs onto Nestor's front leg like a tree and scurries up it, eventually pulling themselves up onto their head and climbing into their antlers. They can see so much from up here!! This must be what it's like to see things from Nestor's point of view. While surveying the area with their new view, they spot something interesting not too far off, hidden in a bush.
