Hey there wasteof gang, it’s great to see people actually interested in Battle for Google Sheets. I assumed it’d end up dead like all the games I made on the TBGs, but it seems people genuinely want to play, and for that, I’m very thankful.
Battle for Google Sheets was set to launch today, but I’ve been pushed back by other tasks and factors outside my control. Rest assured, B4GS will be ready within the next 48 hours. I want to ensure I have all the basic mechanics laid out and I can develop more from there. So far, a map, resources, production mechanics, basic buildings and territories are all ready. The Technology Tree is still being worked on, but will be available on launch.
Over time, the map will expand, new technologies and buildings become available available, events will shake up the landscape and hostile forces may start appearing. I have many plans for the future of B4GS.
Battle for Google Sheets (B4GS), the original (I think) spreadsheet-based strategy game for Wasteof, is launching on May 12th.
In this Much Epic game for Big Brain Gamers, fight for control over a seemingly normal spreadsheet to become the biggest Society by acquiring resources, building structures, expanding your territory and conquering other civilizations. Don’t like fighting? Form alliances or build impenetrable defences. Want to gain an edge? Use Research Points and your wealth of materials to level up your buildings or Society. I’ll be continuously improving the game over time, and if all goes well, things will last a long time. Anyone can drop in at any time, and if your Society gets conquered, you can join right back in.

Hey there, I said I’d come back after I 1CC’d Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. I did that, a while ago actually. And, uhh, I have no idea what changed. If the community’s gotten any better, if anyone cares.
While catching up on what I missed, I noticed news about the passing of Ratio about a month ago. Although I had never met them, I still send my deepest condolences to her family and friends. It’s nothing short of tragic, and for those who knew Ratio personally, they must have been absolutely devastated. Trust me, I’ve lost several close friends, or come close to losing them. May they rest peacefully….
I’m not sure what to do next, maybe that community game I planned would do well? Fighting for resources and territory on an Excel file? Not sure if that’d go anywhere. I’ll try doing posts every 2-3 days.
On a more positive note, I’m in the pipeline for getting HRT. I’ll be chugging estrogen in no time.
Things really aren’t looking great right now on wasteof.money, I was considering a little community game (battle for control over an excel spreadsheet) but I doubt that was gonna get any traction. I think I’ll take a little break from lurking, I’ll see yall when I 1CC Touhou 6
