It’s interesting how hearing a word in a different language you don’t speak can make it much more or less intimidating than it actually is

Like mosquitoes, my thoughts were, the first time I’ve heard it, “What’s a moss-kwee-toe? Eh, probably some extremely poisonous animal you can only really find in deserts”. Yeah, not quite.

Or rabies, where I thought “The dog’s got raw-bees? Oh, that must be some very common thing that every dog goes through once.” …Certainly not.

These are the only examples I can come up with at the top of my head, but I’m sure there’s much more. It’s very intriguing.

It’s interesting how commonly named PenguinMod is on the ATs - it’s very clearly not allowed to be advertised on Scratch

this cat

Unlike other cats, lions have a tuft of hair at the end of their tails.

As an extra, here's a cute lil cat ^-^

Finnish is quite an interesting language

I’ve just noticed you can change the dataset on monkeytype

I consistently have a slightly better score in CSS than in German

I keep forgetting to like posts

I think you mean

  • That's why I felt like I just sliceed my fingertip open with a beautiful animation.

  • Apple Watch is water resistant to 50 meters.

  • And that’s it!

I’ve been off Scratch for a week, just got back to EIGHTY-SEVEN messages. Why lol

Like this nested post NOW so Fortnight is on trending

Did you know that a Fortnight is equivalent to 14 days?

These cookie banners are annoying because they have a lot of vendors you can’t disable. So, I made a bookmarklet that just turns all of the options off, might be useful

I thought there was some limit to how large title texts can be

The recent commit in Scratch Addons has disproved this
