oh my god i just plugged in the latest mix of onset into the music video and it’s so clean i’m giddy
I’m holed up in my Airbnb, working constantly.
I just spent over three hours rotoscoping 30 frames. (The length of time is less indicative of the quality of work, more so my ineptitude.)
I’ve yet to explore London.

The world needs more public pull-up bars.
I just walked over three miles to get to the — as far as I can tell — nearest one to me.
On that note, if anyone happens to know of any public pull-up bars in or around Southfields in London, hit me up
I cannot jaywalk in this country.
Intersections have become obstacle courses traversable only by the guide of the crossing sign.
Tomorrow, I’ll leave my home of the last eight months.
I'm somber as I look upon the scenery, structures, and people I've grown to love, knowing it's for the last time.
But I'm also excited for the adventures to come.

ONSET UPDATES
Yesterday, I recruited Nekke, a hair & makeup specialist, to get me looking RIGHT for the shoot.
Earlier today, Niko and I acquired all the equipment the school has to offer and discussed some logistics.
Just checked in with Poppa Josh, and he’ll get us a rough mix of the track to shoot with by our morning.
Principle photography begins tomorrow.
AAHHHHHH I’M SO READY TO BE BACK ON SET LET’S GOOOOOOO
At 4:45 this morning, I set out on a 40-minute uphill hike to capture a timelapse of the sunrise
I’m grateful for my new DP, Niko, who is more so acting as a director.
His initiative and ideas are taking a massive weight off my shoulders, and this project will turn out all the better for having him.
Exciting ONSET Updates:
Finished writing the lyrics in the morning’s wee hours. Are they perfect? No. But nothing is, and they’re good enough for what they are.
Recording took the whole day. When I record without a hype crew in the studio, it’s hard for me to feel good enough about any take to move on. My throat is sore.
My director of photography backed out. I mentioned this to a friend, who gave me the contact of a videographer they knew. We scheduled a meeting, after which I have a new director of photography, who I am amped to work with.
