Lads, it’s false. Community notes got it completely wrong. It basically just says “bad users should be banned”, it doesn’t say about blocking.

LMAOOOOO GET COMMUNITY NOTED ON YOUR OWN SITE

I went and checked the App Store Review Guidelines myself and at point 1.2 there is this:

“Apps with user-generated content present particular challenges, ranging from intellectual property infringement to anonymous bullying. To prevent abuse, apps with user-generated content or social networking services must include:

  1. A method for filtering objectionable material from being posted to the app

  2. A mechanism to report offensive content and timely responses to concerns

  3. The ability to block abusive users from the service

  4. Published contact information so users can easily reach you”

Google Play’s policy is more clear as it specifically states apps with user generated content “Provides an in-app system for reporting objectionable UGC and users, and takes action against that UGC and/or user where appropriate;”

Sources: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#user-generated-content and https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9876937

Copied the wrong quote from Google Play, it should be “Provides an in-app system for blocking UGC and users;”

Notice how no one liked this post, but 4 people liked the other one

what’s your point Oren

idk, but it’s interesting

Why is it interesting

because nobody cares when Elon is right, they only care when he’s wrong (even if it’s proven that he’s not actually wrong).

I’m not trying to be an Elon fanboy but the amount of falsehoods about him are crazy (people think he inherited his wealth, he bought his titles, he doesn’t do any work, etc)

Sometimes his criticism is unjustified but he’s just been annoying at the moment

But you don’t seem to care when he’s wrong at all, you seem to keep brushing off my arguments as to why removing the feature to fully block people for no reason is dumb by saying it’s just insignificant, some people might be biased against him, but you also seem to be very biased for him. It’s kinda hard to deny that he’s made quite a few dumb decisions regarding twitter recently, I’m not saying they’re all dumb, but a lot of them have been.

Personally, I’m somewhat confused about why you feel like you need to defend him to the point of borderline ignoring anything he’s done wrong, I’m not saying it’s good to ignore the things he’s done right either.
