I've been using an RSS reader for a few months to get news and other updates about things and honestly it's great. I don't get served clickbait or rage-bait articles now compared to when news used to be served to me by an algorithm.

I think a lot of people think RSS is an obsolete technology. Plus a lot of news sites that have an RSS feed don't advertise it much nowadays.
if it’s obsolete then what succeeds it? nothing does, it’s still just rss
that’s funny because i was thinking of making it like 2 hours ago (i’m about to go to sleep though i’ll do it tomorrow (liar (probably)))
