I've been using an RSS reader for a few months to get news and other updates about things and honestly it's great. I don't get served clickbait or rage-bait articles now compared to when news used to be served to me by an algorithm.

i don’t think you know what an rss feed is

  1. I don’t think you know that I do

  2. I was saying that things like google news and the discovery tab in the google app succeed rss.

  1. but you clearly don’t

  2. google news, which is an app to read news, has nothing to do with rss, a syndication protocol. how on earth does an app succeed a protocol? that makes no sense.

  1. how so? I’ve literally used RSS to read news for several months on end since I didn’t have another solution

  2. it’s not necessarily that the app succeeds the protocol. it’s the fact that not many people use RSS, and more people have started to use apps like I’ve talked about.

did you only say this to start an argument with me.
