somehow accidentally deleted all my photos in photobooth so spent the last half hour figuring out how to undo that. i ended up having to write code that rebuilds an xml manifest of all the filenames because ???

why not just use the directory listing like listdir() in python

either that or take the path of the file and trim off the path before the filename, either way works
(idk how to do file handling and path shit in swift, im not a(n) cop iOS developer)
You should be able to look in the trash bin on macOS to find them (unless you empty the trash). I just tested and it works
