heya, that looks cool! but I think you should skip all the jeffalo chat stuff - thereâs no association between the two (other than wasteof being misconfigured once to point to chat by accident). but also Wikipedia has strict notability guidelines and I doubt theyâd ever accept anything as small as wasteof without news coverage. itâs cool though! thanks for sharing
Alright then Iâll scrap the Jeffalo Chat section, but if the rest is good then Iâll continue working on it
And even though wasteof is small maybe theyâll still consider the article, so Iâll eventually submit it
i am not jeffalo but i don't think any of the references would currently be considered as suitable third-party sources, seeing as they are all either on wasteof.money itself, on jeffalo's website, or is on whois which i don't think counts as sufficient coverage. but hopefully one day in the distant future wom will get some epic media coverage worthy of a wikipedia article.

Mostly true but the website template said to use whois when uncertain which is what I did
Apart from that the sources really are just old archives of wasteof so idk how reliable that is but iirc Wikipedia does allow using the Wayback Machine
kind of a bug: when you click âfollowâ or âunfollowâ on a banned user, the banned user warning appears again.
Hey Jeffalo! Just wondering, have you considered adding something like the firehose thingy from the discord server into the actual wasteof? Relying on external social medias isn't always great, as you can tell from the dramas/arguments that happened there, and since it clearly isnât beyond technological limits it would be great to have a sort of âsitewide feedâ for all recent posts. It would also help for people who donât want to/canât use discord but still would like to see recent posts - some people might have idk privacy concerns about discord or straight up be banned from the website. Also, since a lot of people got removed from the server, this is also a solution for them for a temporary time.
Anyways thatâs basically all there is to it, I think it would be better to implement firehose as a feature in the website. Have a good day!
