GALACTIC WAR UPDATE
Helldivers, the Terminid swarm is nearing the limit of its offensive.
Following a brazen attack by the bug menace on multiple planets across the Eastern front, Helldivers managed to successfully defend a number of embattled planets, culminating with a valiant effort on the planet Oshaune. Though the Terminids attempted to spark an uprising on the neighboring planet Fori Prime as their hold on Oshaune weakened, a quick response from our forces put down this threat before it could culminate into a major attack. It would seem that, for now, the Terminid offensive has been halted.
Meanwhile, the battle continues on the Automaton front, with Helldivers struggling to hold the lines on Varylia 5 and attempting to reclaim the hastily-abandoned outposts on Vernen Wells. Reports are coming in that Ustotu has also been targeted once more, leaving our Helldivers with a war on multiple planets across the western galactic rim. Only time will tell if the defenses on these planets will last until the remainder of the Automaton offensive fleet has been exterminated...

if it wasn't clear enough this post is going to be exceptionally strange
you have been warned, run.in Helldivers 2 you don’t see the faces of most characters other than a few of the staff on your super destroyer, so for characterization you pretty much have to rely on voice lines.
there are two aircraft typically deployed from your super destroyer, the fighter jet (Eagle-1) and the extraction shuttle (Pelican-1)
for some reason I immediately decided that I should ship the pilots (even though I never ship characters and am not typically interested in romance at all)
a few minutes ago my brain came up with the absolutely ingenious idea of:
hey, we barely have any actual physical representation of these characters
...
plane dragonsyep, first it started shipping them, and now its shipping them as (non-anthro) plane dragons (based on the vehicles they pilot obviously)
The rot consumes.

In order to honor the sacrifice our brave helldivers made on Malevelon Creek to free it, April 2nd has been declared Malevelon Creek Memorial Day.
Anyone found not celebrating will be sent to reeducation camp, where you will learn that holidays can, in fact, be fun, you bug-loving killjoy.
