so wasteof3 progress report:
i’m losing motivation & speed at a rapid rate and made 0 progress yesterday. today i’ve added the red heart for when a post is loved, and my goal is to get all of those actions (love, repost, report, delete, pin, comment) working 100%.
messages are complex and might launch broken, and settings will take a really long time to implement. (oauth is hard and the current authentication system is very complex).
if i get enough stuff done the beta should be out this weekend.

Maybe installing Linux will motivate you to do anything other than installing linux, hence making you want to work on wasteof3 just to be able to escape using Linux

Take as much time as ya want m8, just remember, like the about page says, this started as a hobby project, and you’ve already accomplished so much, so as long as you’re happy, this hobby project will stay a hobby as opposed to a burden to get features out nonstop

Just make sure to take some time to yourself. WasteOf2 works great right now, and while I'm still excited for the beta whenever it comes out, your health/time for yourself is more important :)
Just don’t get burnt out man - I’ve been there multiple times with Itchy, Modchat, and projects for work. Sometimes it’s just better to take a break and come back to the project after a while if you’re feeling down.
All in all, don’t feel obligated to finish the beta in a certain amount of time - yes, we’re excited for it but at the moment wasteof2 works perfectly fine and we’re happy with it :)
Whenever I’m feeling lazy and I want to get some programming done, I single out a specific goal and work to achieve it as quickly and poorly as possible. Then I can fix it up later when I feel obligated and/or very bored. Perhaps you could apply my incredible, patent-pending technique
