wasteof3 got hard — sveltekit is very opinionated about certain things and i made the mistake of getting in during the beta, so upgrading is turning out to be pretty much a whole rewrite in itself.
so i might potentially skip wasteof3 and go to wasteof4, which will be written nicely from the start. i know this is annoying and will make it take even longer, but we can use the opportunity to make a better UI.
i thought about this for some time, and i made the realization that wasteof3’s UI really is not so good. so we can use this opportunity to make a really good UI for wasteof4.
it should be modern like wasteof2, but have some character like wasteof3. anybody got any suggestions/websites they like the UI/UX of?

the beta was kind of a blocky theme with rounded borders which got boring fast
the only reason i used it was for some features wasteof2 didn’t have
A big thing for me (from what I've seen since I don't have beta access) is the mono-space font which is very easily readable for me with dyslexia. Totally get that you might not want to use that style of font for v4 so I would perhaps recommend the option of choosing between multiple different fonts. Also the adaptive colour idea is pretty neat and I think should be carried to v4 imo. TL;DR a customisable UI overall for v4 would be great, although I get it might be quite technically difficult.

Just wonderin: Why does nearly every website like this have a blue bakcground??? Why can’t you make it liek dark grey of smthn? (or is you uses telwin)
What would happen to the wasteof3 beta testers? Will we get access to wasteof4?
can you keep the wasteof3 as like a sub-domain like wo3.wasteof.money ?

And something that would make it pop is that headers and normal text should have a different font, for example the header font could be ‘bangers’ and the text font could be ‘poppins’
and for mobile, a navigation sidebar would also be nice
I like Twitter’s design personally but I wouldn’t want it to look to similar.
thats true. i wonder if it would work with a fallback for lower powered computers
i love wasteof.mobile’s design. @micahlt did such a good job with it!
