how do yall feel about teachers/professors putting memes in their presentations

comments

absolutely, especially if they're at specific points in the lesson

eg my physics teacher always puts a meme up if he gives us a big chunky sheet of questions, and I'm usually the only one who finds them funny but they can provoke some good discussion

aww that’s so sweet :) my science teachers used to use students in sample questions lol

yes please

positive, assuming they’re authentic

ooh what do you mean by authentic? like a genuine attempt to relate with students? :o

as in representing their authentic humor. Not as some ploy to win points but to share something they found funny

ahhhh yeah that makes sense :D good standpoint

I have a teacher who puts “lit Catholic memes” on everything they have

if you go to a Catholic school or your teacher is in history i respect it lol 🙏🏻

never seen it happen sadly :(

really?? woah :0 hopefully one does in a fun way

It’s cool if they throw one in every once in a while, but if your trying to make your presentation a comedy show, it’s pretty cringe

yeah that makes sense :D esp depending on the subject

It can be funny if they know what they’re doing, if not it’s still fine because haha teacher not know meme

ah yeah usually it’s the latter which isnt bad but when its the former its even funnier :3

sometimes they funny but most of the time they aren’t and it feels like a desperate attempt to be hip

but for the most part I feel for teachers who are trying to bond with their students and an unfunny meme is still sweet in intent no matter how unfunny it is

yeah that sounds about right!!

WHO LIKED THIS I POSTED IT 24 SECONDS AGO ???
