the world “plural” encompasses any disorder that makes you have multiple personalities (me being not plural, this is probably a shit definition of it)
iirc split-personality disorder is just an old word for dissociative identity disorder which is the main one that people have

in the case that is the thing that the person has and not another thing

i meant that the way in which other people live their lives and be themselves shouldn’t concern anyone else (sorry if i was unclear)
they exist just the same as anyone else, and I know some very nice plural people
