new scratch project ids now have 10 digits in them. so that’s fun.
congratulations to the user who made the project with an id of 1,000,000,000!
i’ve never watched it and probably never will, but i like the premise of that kirby cartoon they made for some reason.
the idea that kirby was supposed to be a big and strong warrior in the future but was accidentally woken up 200 years early as a clueless baby sounds really funny to me.
and also terrifying. i mean, if that guy can obliterate literal gods as a baby, i don’t want to imagine what he’d be capable of as an adult.

currently the plan is to release the engine, let people mod it, receive submissions in the official studio and forum topic, and then i’ll take the best microprojects i’ve received and i’ll make a full game out of it
minikiwiware is actually going quite well, well at least in regards to everything other than adding actual gameplay.
but i’m not good at making games, so i guess we’re outta luck in that regard.
thought this wouldn’t happen, but i’m trying to make minikiwiware a reality. still no guarantees that i won’t give up on it halfway through development, but you can see what i’ve accomplished so far here.

the 3ds and wii u servers are going offline tomorrow.
who else plans to accidentally burn their eyes out by staring at the sun for too long, and then promptly boot up mario kart 7 multiplayer one last time?

youtube: “well, yes, but actually no.”
for the first time in a year, i’ve gotten an idea for a potential scratch project i really, really like. i came up with this idea after seeing a recent project by codekirby.
it’s called “minikiwiware.”
it’s warioware, but the characters are various scratch users and the microgames are made by scratchers.
as much as i like this idea, i don’t think i possess the coding ability to make such a game. so don’t expect this to ever see the light of day.
