my coach made me so happy today, apparently my first race this season is a night race

there’s these two restaurants that I go to sometimes and whenever the door opens they have this thing that beeps and somehow the beep is exactly the same as the first two beeps of my alarm clock so whenever i’m sitting there and the door opens I have the urge to throw myself out of bed and slam the alarm clock against the wall

anyway I gotta wake up at 5:30 tmrw, already preparing myself for more clock slamming

crazy how my series five apple watch that’s had two different owners is totally fine in water but my brother’s Apple Watch Ultra (that’s literally supposed to be for diving) broke when he was swimming with it

I finally FINALLY watched Project Hail Mary it’s absolutely peak

i’ve read the book and I think the movie was really accurate and Ryan Gosling is perfect for Ryland’s character. it was definitely a lot more accurate to the book than The Martian book/movie which was a good movie but compared to the book it kinda sucked.

I have a friend who’s read Project Hail Mary fourteen times and she loves the movie so yeah I would recommend it to literally anyone

reading the book does kinda make it make sense a little more I think though

edit: also whoever realized that Sign of the Times is a really good song for a sci fi movie is a genius
