There was an aurora in my backyard last night! This is the very first picture I took:

I’m going to spread out my photos so they aren’t all in one clump of a post so stay tuned (it gets better!)

Guys I just saw the northern lights

I didn’t even realize it was happening tonight but I took over 150 pictures so I’ll sort through those tomorrow

I’m just in awe I never thought I’d see something like this happen in my own backyard

my very unprofessional prediction for what will happen in a month:

pennsylvania will finish very slightly red, something like 10-20k votes slightly and that will be the tipping point

opened a savings account (before you get upset it’s wasting the banks money because they’ll have to pay me interest)

I’m going to have a couple nice weeks of driving to work in the morning where the light is perfect and it’s really pretty.

I want to show how the mountains look down the valley just as the sun comes up but it’s hard to get pictures of it as I’m driving and it might not turn out well anyway
