I’m going to a small conference tomorrow and I just found out I get to take the brand new car my department just got instead of the usual jeep that’s like 30 years old

election season ended three months ago, genuinely what is the point
I’ve been trying to figure out who made these tracks, how they were made, and where they went, cause right now it still makes no sense to me
I think my best theory right now is a pair of squirrels hopping side by side but one jumps further than the other for some reason

aside from a road trip I really just need to get out of the house
it’s hard when it’s 15 (-9) out and the wind is also blasting you but I really need to go walk somewhere soon it’s been 3 months since the last time I went hiking
I have now reached two weeks of time off
I will definitely be doing a road trip once it gets warm again (either late may or june, I haven’t quite decided yet)
The idea I’ve been thinking of would be maybe 15-18 days long and pass through 15 states but I’m still trying to work out the logistics and make sure it’s a trip that’s worth the time and effort
