Due to numerous personal factors, I have made the decision to leave wasteof.money, and the public-facing internet at large, indefinitely.
I initially didn't plan on making any kind of announcement because I didn’t want to come across as attention-seeking or performative in my decision. But honestly, leaving people in the dark feels like it’d create an adjacent problem, so I hope this can suffice.
You can continue to contact me in a few private spaces (Discord: kiwi.two, Steam: kiwitwo), or you can leave a message here for the time being. In theory, the only remaining public-facing places I plan to be active are YouTube (youtube.com/@kiwi-two), my currently in-development website (idk lol), and a couple of extremely niche places literally no one cares about. The ultimately unconstructive crapposting you’ve seen here is going to stop for a long while, however.
Just know that I'm doing well in real life and I intend to part on good terms. Having that forced two month break from wasteof honestly did wonders for my mental health so I’d like to keep that up. Ultimately, real life is something I'd like to spend more time enjoying, and this decision reflects that goal.
I hope you guys understand my decision, thank you for the laughs. I did learn quite a bit from my time on here and I’m not going to forget that any time soon.
i think its kind of funny to think about how at one point, two thirds of all computer animated movies were about ants
i always liked how in traditionally-animated disney films, you can pause at any random landscape shot and get a really cool looking painting
i always liked that thing that happens in some animated movies where a character accidentally breaks a plate or something, and then they decide the noise of the plate being broken could make a sick beat, so they decide to break more plates and slowly overlay it with more and more unrelated noises

since windows 8, microsoft has had this stupid pattern where they shove whatever they decide is the “next big thing” down people’s throats.
then they realize it’s not actually the next big thing, so they get rid of it, and then they find something even more useless to obsess over for the next release.
with windows 8, they thought tablet computers were going to become the new thing, so they designed an os that only works somewhat well on tablet computers, completely ignoring the millions of people with traditional desktops.
thankfully, enough people complained it was clunky, so they “fixed it” in windows 10…
with windows 10, they added cortana, which next to nobody used because nobody wants to talk to a computer when they could do the same thing much faster by themselves instead.
thankfully, enough people complained about it, and it was slowly phased out…
…and now that windows 11 is out, they’ve assumed that just because chatgpt exists, that means that people want what cortana was trying to do back then.
but come on, even an idiot should know that nobody wants 20 different buttons to access copilot.
can people please just… switch to another operating system?

So in like a year Microsoft for no reason changed office 365 to Microsoft 365 (whatever but a harmless change) but now Microsoft 365 is “Microsoft 365 Copilot” with Microsoft’s shit AI built into 365 along with the logo now just being the Copilot logo with “M365” tagged at the bottom because…. why?
So tired of this AI bullshit, even the URL is now trash (went from office.com to m365.cloud.microsoft)
