I have decided to make a separate INDEV project for Star Map, so that you can still play the not broken version while Iβm working on it

also, the next update Iβm working on is stations, fuel, trading (with somewhat of an economy), and upgrades. These will likely come out in parts, with stations and refueling, (and maybe some basic trading) being the first update

I got bored and made another p5.js thing, itβs a randomly generated star map
Iβm just adding features when I get bored and plan to turn it into a small game over time
if you go into the code, you can mess with the values at the top to get a different map among other things
Hot take: time to kills in most games are actually too low and itβs really annoying. Games with one-shot headshot policies make it even worse. When you are being shot at, there should be a chance to actually respond. (this is why I liked fortnite, if there are bullets near you, build a castle.) Therefore higher time-to-kills would benefit games. the only people who would be upset would be sweats, who can learn and adapt faster than the average player anyways. Also, this would focus a given game less on meta and more on finding a weapon that suits the player.
A great part of the internet is that you can totally just represent yourself as a dragon and 90% of people donβt care.
