i have to wonder are stuff like the federalist papers written like that because that’s how the authors spoke? or is that what formal writing was expected to be like that back then? i imagine it’s a mix of both but how much of the one and how much of the other? and how much has casual speech changed since then? i imagine it’s less than it might seem, since they didn’t really document such things well, but who knows

Not sure if this is the right venue to post this, couldn’t find any other place. I need to alert jeffalo to a massive vulnerability I’ve found on wasteof using Claude. The issue is with the <a> html tags on the site. They might seem fine, but when clicked they actually take you to an entirely different website. This is pretty alarming and needs to be fixed ASAP
i have heard multiple different accounts about how things like “next friday” and “this friday” are supposed to work, and i want to know what you think
“this Xday” could mean anywhere from 1-6 days from today, and “next Xday” is 7-13 days from today, “last Xday” is 1-7 days ago
“this Xday” means “the Xday of this current week”, “next Xday” means “the Xday of next week”, and “last Xday” means “the Xday of last week”
“this Xday” means the same as “next Xday”, both of which would be 1-7 days from now
