46 comments, holy cow

that rendering looks amazing

Thank you :)

What render engine did you use? I’m always switching between cycles and eevee and I can never get my lighting right lmao

This was rendered in Cycles. I almost always use Cycles because I find it easier to work with and more realistic, but I also have a pretty powerful machine so I get why a lot of people prefer Eevee’s software rendering.

I have a nice ryzen gpu so I can render in cycles but I never can figure out the lighting. Eevee gives a cartoon-ish look that i find cool sometimes but usually I can’t figure out how to do it.

Cycles lighting is interesting to work with for sure… it does take some time, but you can get good at it if you try!

The few renders I’ve done (I do have access to computers occasionally) have been in cycles, and one took 3 days. I should try eevee next.

I've been meaning to get around to learning Eevee shaders, but just haven't had the time.

mine bitcoin

Lol yes, I’m definitely going to mine crypto on a laptop

ahh yes

about 2 years later, and this wouldn’t have been a bad idea

Thanks :)

how did you make it?

I downloaded the wasteof logo and then imported it into Blender. I extruded the W a bit and then duplicated the object. Then some camera F-stop adjustments and then a 30-minute 4K render :)

probably getting a 3060 soon 👀

Crazy :o

this is really neat tho, you used blender I assumed?

assume*

I did :)

The only graphics card i want is an rtx 3090 ti

Lol don't we all

People are saying “imagine having graphics cards lol” and I’m saying imagine having pc couldn’t be me

Lemme guess - M1 series?

No, iPhone.

imagnine having a rtx 3050 ti. Couldn’t be me lol

Yikesssss

Yeah its kinda scary even tho i can play Minecaft bedrock and java at 60 fps, 20 with shaders

Wow, impressive :o
