I just got back from the youth retreat

I was understanding that on the internet people don’t like you. It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter what you say. There’s gonna be some people who don’t like you. And the people who don’t like you are not interested in the truth. What they’re interested in is finding some lie that they can latch on to and accelerating that lie as much as possible via their platforms to try and paint a negative picture of you. Because they don’t like you.

for about a week in the summer of 2021 I did nothing but sit on the scratch forums. I got this screenshot once:

bro scratch literally fell off so hard. like they used to do massive updates and there was all this drama and now its so boring. and most of the fun people from the advanced topics either left or turned into forum mini-mods. and the scratch team barely does anything other than reject suggestions
