Argghh I’ve tried to deploy an express app on vercel, netlify, and heroku. Every single time it didn’t work. I just want to deploy my app, why is this so hard!!! 😫

This is what the scratch team is adding to the editor for April fools:

https://llk.github.io/scratch-gui/hotfix/totally-normal-2022/

They added a password so we can’t see it but I found out how to get in: click away from the tab to another tab, go back, and the prompt will go away (at least on chrome). Edit: just press the cancel button on the prompt lol. Then you’re in

The sha1 hash of the password is:

5c232ea2a6dd16701545bfe647217844c1354bd9

and if you get it wrong it will redirect you to this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/96708228/

So far the only thing they’ve added is a ‘mode’ dropdown which has these modes:

  • normal mode

  • show me cats (turns on cat blocks)

  • All the world is a stage (makes it so the brightness, color, and ghost effects work like in 2019: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/April_Fools%27_Day#2019)

  • Old timey (makes it look like an old timey video)

  • 90s mode (makes it look like the 90s)

  • Prehistoric (makes your mouse into a torch)

This is as of today, they’re changing it very quickly

Why do programmers use dark mode? Because bugs are attracted to light

Imagine you go to Linus Torvalds's house and he's using a chromebook

Maybe I’ll make something like a wasteof version of scratchstats so we can be sure… Or even better something like scratchdb so anyone could make one… Or even better jeffalo could add it in to the actual api… @jeffalo pls

I feel like I can truthfully say I am the most active wasteof user (in terms of posts made)

Vercel has a good looking website
