I don’t follow or enjoy them but they don’t make the website worse
Owen is great, showerthoughtsbot fun to see/make fun of, jokebot is too repetitive
the joke api i have is kinda mid
i could reduce the filter, but it would let through a lot of….. questionable jokes
factsbot and beemoviebot better
i think they spark discussion, reactions, and more activity on the site in general
most of it seems recycled, and the jokes are hard to make sense of sometimes
@immark_v2, looking at @showerthoughtsbot is a great way to be annoyed, and it’s fun seeing @photo_bot’s photos fitting exactly, also @everythingwaste’s daily posts of course
i personally don't like seeing @immark_v2’s posts in the admin feed because they're so spammy but it's fun reading people's responses to them
It’s not like they occur every five minutes or something, they’re fine - although I obviously don’t have an admin feed so not sure what an impact they have there

depends on if ive seen the message it before, i personally don’t follow any bots, but sometimes people repost them and thats funny sometimes
