I was looking through this guy on pixilart who’s REALLY good, and I saw his gallery and noticed that there were OVER 1,600 DRAWINGS IN IT
I decided to scroll through and it was filled with a ton of awesome stuff
but as I went lower I noticed some changes in the style and some slight changes in quality, but still nothing major
then I got close to the bottom, the quality was much lower, it wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t anything close to their current level of quality
he started out not the greatest, but with a lot of attempts, got better, and with a LOT more work, became incredible at what he did
and in no way am I saying this sort of journey wouldn’t be incredibly difficult, but just the fact that people do it just out of passion and that it’s possible is incredible, and the phase of being absolutely crap is discouraging, but just part of the process

why does listening to vaporwave music make my brain do this
I’ve been born into the most magnificent story ever conceived and it’s not even a story.
even if you might not see it personally, the world is a crazy place, it’s filled with… whatever the hell we’ve done and a whole lot more, you can live your life in any way you want and that’s probably why there’s so much stuff happening, because most people just does their own thing. go do something, or don’t, just try and enjoy it, because that all we have.
like, cars? these massive complex hunks of metal that just go zoom and are everywhere because of us?? or electricity, something that only normally exists in rare anomalies such as lightning is now also everywhere and fully utilised entirely because of us?! we weren’t evolved to live like this but we’re sure as hell not going back now, if anything we’ll just make ourselves evolve. I feel so lucky to live in such an insane and unnatural time, even if it does really suck sometimes, there’s just so much that’s possible.
