I got out an old laptop today for CD burning. It's not performing terribly, but the clock is ahead 14 minutes

The feeling when you need to ask someone for a favor (nevermind it's easier to learn the skill myself)

I got a CD player and amp to connect both record player and CD player but as a cruel twist of fate my speakers aren't compatible with the amp output, so they only get raw audio out without master volume. And I don't have a few hundred bucks to drop on speakers, this is all stuff I stole from the family

why does updating my graphics card always cause it to just. turn off and not back on

If I had a nickel for every time someone in the Chirpy Reverie community disappeared without another word probably for mental health reasons I would have 3 nickels (I am a nickel)

I wonder how my chem teacher feels after giving me a problem on a test we were never taught how to solve (I’ve been working for two hours on one problem and have found nothing on how to solve anything like it literally anywhere in the text book, internet, etc)

Today's fun vinyl fact: there is a very big difference in the weight between bargain vinyl I have and uh AAA vinyl. Comparing war of the worlds ($5) and Hawaii part II ($35) is like Styrofoam and cinder blocks

My older brother gave me a pre-amp so bad it made jazz sax sound like electric guitar literally worse than what I have built into my turntable

Listening to War of the Worlds on vinyl right now. Low-key actually an excellent buy and I would recommend.
