@auriali

Still a secret.

Don’t know if I have ever clarified it but since I posted on my main today I might as well clear up what my various accounts are for on wasteof:

  1. @da-ta - used to share my high effort projects and designs. I aim to post something on that account roughly once a month.

  2. @Auriali - used mainly to share my random thoughts. No schedule, but I post usually multiple times a week here about tech, music and anything else on my mind.

I imagine this is already obvious but thought I should just actually say it so it’s 100% clear lol.

Microsoft Edge Redirect is one of the greatest tools to ever be made for Windows. No more do I need to worry about accidentally opening Edge if I hit a web link when searching for a file.

Spotify Niche Mixes can be so odd and goofy sometimes. Here’s some of my favourite weird Niche Mixes I've come across.

Thanks for 60 followers! It’s been great being here and watching stuff develop, from a mobile app to the new alpha site and so on. I’m not as heavily integrated into the community as some others here, but I am very grateful to those who’ve chosen to follow this account and my main @da-ta. Now we wait for 9 more people to follow so I may get the funniest screenshot ever. Much love! ✨

Just heard this record a few days ago and it’s so good I need to share it now or else I will explode (will probably talk about it on @thenewcreators too). Faith In Persona by death’s dynamic shroud is such a good example of how sampling vocals from other songs can show them in a whole new light. The album is a mix of vaporwave, glitch pop and plunderphonics. Each track samples vocals from existing tracks, using perhaps a select part of a song to loop and manipulate, for example one of the songs samples don’t start now by dua lipa and completely changes the vibe of the vocals thanks to the production and overall sound of the song compared to the original. The instrumentals are all original and are so good man, from great bops to ethereal highs like the intro track Tears In Abyss or in my opinion the best track Just To Be Needed, which starts off as a slower acoustic cut that adds dramatic drums which then leads into a synth string outro that samples ghostin by Ariana Grande. The album feels like a really ambitious and extravagant Neil Cicerega mash-up record like Mouth Moods, but Faith In Persona goes beyond and uses original instrumentals. Even if you don’t want to listen to the whole record, I’d highly recommend Just To Be Needed and Tears In Abyss.

are you happy? you monsters.

BREAKING: The iPhone 15 looks almost identical to the iPhone 14! 😱

going to listen to dream’s ep he released recently called “to whoever wants to hear” so you don’t have too, i’ll update this post to let you know my thoughts and if i even survive, wish me luck 😅

Edit: Just finished listening to it, it sucks so bad. Also weirdly has a lot of sexual lyrics that I wouldn’t expect from y’know… a guy who’s audience is mostly kids… Worst EP I’ve heard this year 💀

I don’t like MrBeast’s videos, the editing is so fast and rapid it feels overwhelming. Everything is cut so much that it feels like it’s just fighting to keep you from clicking off to something else, rather than actually entertaining you. And while the scale of many of his videos are impressive it feels corporate in a lot of ways, I’ve seen plenty of TV shows that use similar styles of presentation, all glitz and glamour with not much personality or substance.

my main scratch account hit 1200 followers the other day, much love 💖

wearing crocs outdoors is strangely liberating (and comfortable)
