for as much as the internet has changed in regards to memes and whatnot, with things becoming more abstract and layered with irony, it's still nice that cat videos are still universally enjoyed by everyone online pretty much. some things never change.

nice example of how comic sans isn’t all bad and can look good

Finally got around to listening to BRAT by Charli xcx, and woah, this is such a fun album. It’s a great mix of her hyperpop sound from previous albums alongside this new 2000s club sound, and it works so well. It’s heavy, catchy, and just plain fun. But what takes it to the next level is the lyrics, they simple and blunt, but are very vulnerable, being about Charli’s insecurities, love life, and her feelings on her career at this point which just adds this extra layer that makes it a wonderful, inventive record that stands against so many mediocre pop records from some of the industry’s biggest names.

Oh boy, you’ve barely scratched the surface. Here are some more candidates who ran in our general election this year.

First off, we have Elmo. Yes, a guy dressed as Elmo ran in the same constituency as Keir Starmer (Holborn and St Pancras), leader of the Labour Party and now our current Prime Minister - Elmo even shook Starmer’s hand while a member of the Monster Raving Loony Party stood beside him. And yes, that is also a real political party that was founded in 1982 and still runs in UK elections today.

And we also have Niko Omilana, a YouTuber who ran for London Mayor a few years ago and came 5th place. Every time he appeared in interviews and promotional videos, he would wear children’s glasses that clearly don’t fit his head. This time he ran in the Richmond and Northallerton constituency of the incumbent Prime Minister before the election, Rishi Sunak. When the results started to come in, it was clear Rishi Sunak’s party, the Conservatives, were going to lose massively to Labour, as he did a speech in his constituency, Niko held an L sign behind him lmao.

And lastly, we have Captain Beany. He ran in the North East Somerset constituency next to the Conservative candidate Jacob Rees-Mogg - he’s not very liked, being the incumbent of that seat and also being excessively posh. He lost his seat while standing next to Captain Beany, who was wearing a baked bean balaclava.

just found out theres a UK prime minister candidate named Count Binface and he looks like a discount superhero

Do you think AI can generate IGOR by Tyler, The Creator? By The Time I Get to Phoenix by Injury Reserve? Everywhere At The End Of Time by The Caretaker? Everything Everywhere All At Once? Into/Across The Spider-Verse? Love, Death & Robots? Utopia? A Picasso painting? A Zdzisław Beksiński painting? Can it write Animal Farm by George Orwell? Watership Down by Richard Adams? I don’t think it can. Art is made by humans to connect with other humans, to make us feel, think, and more. Human art understands humans. AI art only understands what it is fed. It can generate a generic picture but yet can’t generate a hand properly, one of the earliest pieces of art ever made were handprints and a computer can’t understand it enough to generate it right. I think that says a lot about the difference between human and AI art. AI and tech bros don’t understand this about art, they never will and even if they did or do they don’t care, they see art merely as a product, a commodity with no other value than the price tag slapped on it. “How much can we charge a subscription to access this art for?” is the only thought that crosses the minds of people who champion this kind of soulless, emotionless “art”.

What a glow up, made a joke with Jeffalo saying I should be banned, he follows through and then unbans me and verifies me. What’s even funnier is how my goofy alt gets verified before my main account that I actually put effort into its posts. Perfect comedy!

Thank you btw lol.

thanks for 90 followers, I am creeping ever closer to that loser @da-ta and he will suffer my wrath when I catch up to him, the little cretin. When I reach 100 followers I will be unstoppable, so hurry up nerds Auri needs to destroy the fabric of the universe!

installed opera gx (portable) just to see what its like nowadays since i haven’t tried opera or opera gx since moving to firefox in like 2017 or 18, and i am thoroughly confused on some things. first off, why does it have sound effects and background music lmao? i need to know what insane person has those left on because having my browser make swooshing, clicking and futuristic sounds when i hover over something, click, or type on my keyboard is a one way ticket to a headache. the homepage has so much random stuff on it, only other browser with more stuff on its new tab page is ms edge lol - they’ve added like a billion random flash games you can play when the chrome dino game is still the most entertaining tbh. the most bonkers thing was its “mods” store - which is basically a place to install themes that change the appearance of the browser and other things like the sounds and the look of certain websites, its like a more fancy version of a bog-standard theme on the chrome or firefox stores. anyway, when i tried to browse it on gx it would take forever to load images and wouldn’t let me install mods, any troubleshooting i tried failed - this is a fresh install btw. i decided to use my default (firefox) to open the same page and it loads instantly with no issues 💀 it was also the same story for brave which i use a secondary browser. so in conclusion i am still confident my decision to leave opera behind was a pretty good one on my part from what it seems lmao
