My dad canceled our iCloud and Apple One subscriptions briefly today and I was surprised at how much of the things I do depended on that stuff. Definitely one of the things I take for granted the most.
I want to make a blog but I don’t want to use a template and the amount of work it would take to make a high-quality, fully-featured blog is immense
If you want to keep up with my running, you can see my stats, training log, and some cool resources I’ve found in this spreadsheet:

I’ll try to add some more resources as well, as I find them.
Me showing off my blog that uses every experimental browser feature and no posts:
The Cybertruck can beat a Porsche 911 in a drag race… while towing another Porsche 911 behind it.
It has the same acceleration as a Lamborghini Aventador.
It has the same ¼ mile time as a Porsche Carrera.
But it has 3 times the number of seats as any of those cars and it can tow 11,000 lbs.
Today, the greatest car of all time is finally released. Say what you like about the Cybertruck, but it’s undeniably the most disruptive vehicle ever made. Also, it’s my dream car.
How have y’all listened to 45000+ minutes of music this year??? There’s multiple people who have done it on here. That’s like, over a month of continuous music listening. 1 entire month of your year was solidly listening to music.
I listened to 16000 minutes and I thought that was almost too much. Like, what are you guys doing???
Well, I restarted it. After 2 hrs of intense coding, I got login working. I could have done more today but the site was down lol.
Here’s the new repo: https://github.com/Oren-Lindsey/wasteof-ios
Also, another note: I kind of want to restart the project because I have built up a lot of janky, patched-together code. Just look at the code on Github to see what I mean. I don’t think I’ll be able to make a good app that is actually maintainable without either a massive rewrite of the state handling and such or completely restarting.
What do y’all think?
Here we go!
Edit: this is the first post from the wasteof iOS app! Yessirrrrr!

If you haven’t noticed by now, I have a tendency to expect a much bigger improvement than I’m actually getting. Although I’m still getting a massive improvement each time. A 1:30 record is crazy.
Well, I got 21:03. I suspected I wasn’t strong enough for under 20 minutes but I still did good. Beat my personal record by 1:30. For fun, here’s a chart of my 5k times, with a projected trendline:
Edit: The graph didn’t have the right X axis. It’s fixed now.
I’m going to try to run a 5k in under 20 minutes tomorrow. Let’s do it.
Happy Thanksgiving y’all! I’m thankful for the amazing times I’ve had this year, the new friends I’ve made, and school going well. God’s been so good to me this year.
Go eat food, watch football, and be thankful!
