What are some of the best wasteof posts ever? I want to collect them all in one place

Yo bro who in Cyprus actually elected Fidias… guy is the most annoying politician of all time. For those who don’t know, imagine if Ryan Trahan (but more self-centered) got elected as your senator.

@jeffalo isn’t this truly peak advice?

i have not even thought about buying an iphone. my pixel is really good enough, and besides, i don't want to buy a phone that i don't actually own.

Interesting fact: all Android users secretly want an iPhone. They'll try to deny it, but they know its true. 😉

Why do people say “plurality” (9 characters, 4 syllables) instead of saying “the most” (8 characters, 2 syllables)? They mean the same thing (right?)

Facts

Wasteof posts are like an art - some posts are hits, others are misses, and some others are stolen.

Whoever supports these state lines, I will vote for them

These states supported the US joining a world government in 1949.

They should pass the Child Labor Amendment (10 states needed), the Congressional Apportionment Amendment (27 states needed), and the Titles of Nobility Amendment (26 states needed)

Nooo this has been taken offline

The only state Trump has not been to as far as we know is Idaho

Had a great day on the boat today with friends and family for a fishing vacation!

This is a map of all of these countries that also have direct flights to America - perfect for fleeing the crime.

Out of all of these, I think Togo or Cote d’Ivoire would be the most safe for escaping if you’re willing to live in an undeveloped place, as they’re unlikely to be very able to collaborate with police. You can just kind of disappear pretty easily. But you’d have to book a visa in advance.

The nicest option would be Morocco or the gulf states, but both are more likely and more able to work with America.

I’m not a criminal I promise

Map of countries that don’t have an extradition treaty with the US, but do allow somewhat easy travel from there. If you’re going to commit a crime and flee, go to one of these places.

Green is actually visa-free, red you have to obtain some kind of visa. Grey means you can’t go there without risk of being sent back to America.

Which country do you think would be the best? Personally, I think Senegal or Morocco.

Israel’s Qatar strike was an absolute fail, for multiple reasons:

  • Killed any chance of expanding Abraham accords for a while

  • Made Israel and America look like bad allies who will backstab for their own gain

  • Hurt relations with basically everyone, including America

  • And didn’t even kill the Hamas leadership they were trying to hit!

  • Even if it did kill them, would it even help the situation in Gaza? (See my explanation below)

Usually Israel actually succeeds with their plans. It seems they have good intel and ability to strike most of the time, regardless of their intentions. But the core premise of this plan was to decapitate the leadership of Hamas - which would mean all the cells on the ground now have no one to tell them what to do with the hostages. Israel would have no way to negotiate with the leadership to release any of the hostages, which if you can’t tell, prolongs the war.

And it hurts their credibility with Hamas: how do they know they can negotiate without getting bombed? I think this was just Netanyahu trying to get some credibility with the people, because it doesn’t help anything on the field.
