story time
when i was really little, there was this one dvd i really liked to watch. i’d put it in my somewhat-crappy dvd player, hit play, and then i’d take the dvd out and then put it back in when i was ready to watch it all over again.
i didn’t actually care about the movie, though, the only reason i was doing this was because for whatever reason i found it fun to get scared by the unusually loud mgm logo with that one lion showing up every single time i put the dvd in over and over and over again.
i don’t know, toddler me was weird. i don’t usually get enjoyment out of being scared by things, so idk what was up with me back then. of course it’s been many years since then and i’m obviously not scared of this silly logo anymore.
the thx logo, meanwhile… that’s a whole other story. ;)

i had a weird dream last night where this one scratcher i know released a project revealing that
their entire scratch profile was just a giant social experiment to see how popular they could get and how people would react
they’re actually an adult and not a teenager like their profile and general writing style suggested
every single one of their projects had lore all this time that nobody had picked up on, even the ones that were titled stuff like “WIP WILL FINISH LATER” and had a single sprite in them
and that now that the social experiment had concluded with amazing results they’d be quitting the internet forever
i mean… this could have been weirder.
am i the only one who actually thinks the nintendo switch online playtest program looks cool now that we know what it is?
